  4. How to install The Puzzle
  5. -------------------------

  7. When your CD-ROM is in the drive simply click on (play)1setup.exe 
  8. in the root from a filemanager or explorer.
  9.  
  10. A setup screen will be showed. Click the 'Install game' 
  11. botton and you will
  12. be guided through the setup of the game.
  13.  
  14. The Puzzle icon will be added to your startmenu, doubleclick here 
  15. now you are ready to play.

  18. Autorun in Windows 95
  19. ---------------------

  21. If your operatingsystem is Windows 95, your  CD-ROM should run the
  22. (playicon)autorun.exe by itself but some drives don't. You can fix that 
  23. problem in the systempanel under the controlpanel.
  24. Choose the device manager tab and doubleclick on the  CD-ROM icon.
  25. Choose the settings tab and find the check-box 
  26. named autoshow information and click on it.

  36. For best (fast) result set screensize to 640*480

  38. If the colours looks strange you have to set up your screenadapter
  39. to display 65535 colors or more in the control panel. 
  40. Click on the display icon in the control panel 
  41. and choose the settings tab. Click on the Color Palette
  42. combo box and choose either 16-bit or 24-bit. 
  43. Restart your computer.Do you want to view an avi-movie 
  44. in 256 display mode then use fullscreen,
  45. it will look okay.
  46. (In general For best frame rate performance,
  47. configure the graphics card for 8-bit color mode.  
  48. For best image quality, use 24-bit color mode.)

  53. We advise you to install The Puzzle on your hardisk in order 
  54. to get the best performance.

  56. Mouse-extra: It is possible with your right mousebutton to click on the 
  57. running movie in the puzzle movieplayer (normal screen) 
  58. and get new choises to view. You can set the movie to play half normal 
  59. or double size, a curser is available for volume control and speed of 
  60. the movie you are watching, also an open /close ,copy, configure 
  61. and command dialog box appears.
  62. XTRA:If you got a fast computer try to run the xtra.avi movie in the 
  63. extra\goodies folder.THE XTRA.AVI WILL ONLY WORK OKAY ON A 486 DX2 66-OR BETTER (PENTIUM )
  64. Use the browse button to activate your filemaneger! 
  65. from here you can also install the screensaver! (FOR WIN 95 !!)
  66. The screensaver will be put in: c:\waycool\Fvswcavi.avi st4unst.log   Fvswcavi.txt 
  67. AND uses 14Mb space ON HARDDRIVE!
